John D. Talmadge, DVM
Dr. John Talmadge is a co-owner and general practitioner at Bigger Road Veterinary Clinic. A veterinarian since 1982, Dr. Talmadge served as vice president of sales and marketing for veterinary products at the Iams Company from 1989 to 2006 before coming to Bigger Road Veterinary Clinic.
Dr. Talmadge grew up in Colorado. He attended Colorado State University and received his Bachelor's Degree in Biology in 1979. He continued his veterinary education at the Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Talmadge was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1982.
Outside the hospital, he can be found on the golf course or woodworking in his spare time. He and his wife, Beth, have two adult children, Holly and Jason. Dr. Talmadge's four-legged family members include a dog, Chloe, a cat named Sophie, and Indigo, a Betta fish.
