Megan Strahler, DVM
General practitioner Megan Strahler joined Bigger Road Veterinary Clinic in April 2010. She decided to become a veterinarian because she enjoys fostering the human-animal bond and appreciates the ongoing learning that the profession allows.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, Dr. Strahler attended Ohio State University for both her undergraduate studies and veterinary degree. She graduated in 2003 with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and lists surgery and internal medicine as some of her professional interests.
Dr. Strahler and her husband, Jeremy, have two boys. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, hiking / backpacking, swimming and biking with her family. For more than five years, she has treated and rehabilitated sick and injured raptors such as hawks, owls and eagles as a volunteer veterinarian with the Ohio Wildlife Center. Dr. Strahler has two cats named Meriweather and Feziwig, a Golden Retriever / Chow mix named Bodhi and a German Shepherd / Akita mix named Chelan.
